2006
I am writing you on behalf of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter XIX. Our Chapter formed in February 2004, and is a member of the Red Knights International Motorcycle Club. Our members are paid, volunteer, and retired firefighters who enjoy motorcycling. We promote motorcycle safety and awareness of the valuable contribution made by emergency services personnel in our area.
In 2005, we sponsored our first annual "Heroes Among Us" Poker Run. The funds raised from this event will be utilized to support emergency services members in time of need. Whenever a fire fighter or emergency services person is injured on the job or is the victim of a fire, the Red Knights want to be able to help with a donation from our "Heroes Among Us" fund.
It has come to our attention that a member of New York Mills Fire Department has recently suffered a great loss. A donation was made at the New York Mills Fire Dept Business Meeting on behalf of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter 19 to Bob Robinson as our way of showing our gratitude and support for fellow emergency services personnel.
